MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY MARCH AGAINST “RACISM, MATERIALISM AND MILITARISM”: BUILDING BRIDGES TO PEACE MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 9:00 AM Lee County Black History Society, 1936 Henderson Ave., Ft. Myers, FL 33916 Join us as we join the NAACP in support of Dr. Martin Luther King’s stance against war, racism, and poverty. At 9:00 AM we will gather at the Lee County Black History Society. At 9:30 AM we will march down Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. to Monroe St. to Centennial Park. There will be food and entertainment; the NAACP will be registering voters; and we’ll be leafleting MLK flyers with a list of our upcoming events on the back. Bring an MLK sign or use one of ours.
