Why a Circle of Hope?
September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows is an
organization
founded by family members who lost loved ones on 11 September, and who
have risen above bewilderment and rage to speak out against war and
revenge. Its mission is to seek effective nonviolent responses to
terrorism, and identify a commonality with all people similarly
affected by violence. By choosing peaceful options, they hope to
spare additional innocent families the suffering that they have
experienced—as well as to break the endless cycle of violence and
retaliation engendered by war. www.peacefultomorrows.org
