SEPTEMBER 9, TUESDAY - PROTEST PRESIDENT BUSH IN FT. LAUDERDALE 4:30-6:30 pm, Hyatt Regency Pier 66, 2301 S.E. 17th Street Causeway, Ft. Lauderdale George Bush will be inside at a $2,0000 per person fundraiser; we will be outside calling for money for jobs, education & healthcare, not war and occupation. Assemble on the west side of the bridge along the public sidewalk (remaining legal). There is municipal parking on the west underside of bridge. According to the police, the Secret Service will not confirm plans until 24 hours of the event, so assume these plans could change. Plan on extra time. Dinner is set to begin at 6 pm; protestors should assemble at 4:30-5:00 pm. Bring signs. Many organizations are sponsoring this event; some will be wearing black t-shirts in honor of those fallen in the Iraq war.
