So what if one of our male students or teachers "puts his [unsolicited] lips" on the bare shoulder of one of our female students, custodians, secretaries--or anywhere else on her body in front of a teacher, a principal, or our superintendent? PDA? What should a teacher do? I wonder if Kate has a girlfriend, a father or a boyfriend who might come to her defense karate-style. What if she herself planted an Irish knuckle kiss on his nose or broke his leg in response? Maybe the superintendent should have? He's doubtless trained in West Point hand-to-hand combat. Would he be Tasered for insisting on his boss's treating a female reporter like a lady? I guess that where Mr. Withers comes from, they don't string a man up for giving unsolicited kisses. Our community, however, ought to at least push him off the end of the pier.
