You know, this is not about clean schools or saving money. Our schools already are quite clean at a very good price. This really is about something altogether different. Something that is a part of a sinister secret plan sneaked into our community by radical believers in “Innovations in Education.” What our new rulers are after is Orchestrated Consensus. The very first step was to dump the superintendent and put into place a change agent capable of using military psyops. The first tack after that was to silence the articulate elite, by using the community’s popular law-and-order consensus. The A.P. students and their teachers were soundly defeated and their program cut in half so as to conform to the spuriously construed Florida legal requirements about the naming of paired courses. Then move to the other end of the employee spectrum--at the most fundamental component of Collier County Schools. The custodians are limited by their language proficiency and cannot object to the outsourcing of their jobs to a Tennessee company. This is not new stuff! Innovations are something stealthy administrators and smarmy teachers use to sneak in controversial methods and materials. Educators have to chase that carrot. Don’t you see? Firing the 250 custodians who are doing a fine job for very little money and outsourcing their jobs to previously little known GCA is a part of the military pincer movement to doubly envelope the resisters and prevent any attempt to reinforce the center of Collier County Public Schools. With economic conditions as they are, our path to escape is cut off and we must face this regime’s attack in front at the same time as we face it in the rear. Our union is notoriously weak and cannot provide us with a breakout from the encircling force. The Teamsters seem to be a friendly external force that have attacked from the outside to open up an escape route for us, a new insurance program that saves more than the required-by-the-regime’s amount to keep from jilting our janitors. But the orchestrated consensus-making will stop only when all children in public, private and home schools are robotized-and believe as one. The robotization (brainwashing) of all Americans includes the forgetting about the best that has been thought and written in human history. The FCAT becomes the only criterion for victory. I say even Hannibal can be denied victory: don’t outsource anything. Give us back local control. Don’t jilt our janitors. They are worth much more than a football field.
